I vaguely remember that i-mode gateway <-> server SSL connections are only
established for official i-mode sites. Whereas phone <-> gateway connections
may use SSL (just not very useful on its own). But I wouldn't mind if
someone corrects me here.
Does anyone know what security strengths are supported by the carriers in
Japan? Of what class is it (1: no auth, just encryption; 2: server
certificates; 3: client certificates) and what keylenghts are supported?
Who supports end-end security via what means?
Regards
Marc
