Well on the topic of the "truth" of German characters......
(yeah right what is truth anyway......."honesty" I get, and in an
absolute context "truth" is no problem, but when it comes to opinions
there is no truth..... just my 2 cents on the other thread)
Testing the Ü and raw ASCII on the Japanese
handsets here are the results:
None display ASCII extended as European Characters (of course)
But as for the HTML escape codes:
N503i NO
F503i YES
SO503i NO
P503iS NO
D503i NO
So the F503i is a good way to test German sites in Japan,
well maybe.
(but what about the KO210 and friends............. I don't know........)
Too bad I don't speak much German. It would be useful right now.
As for European handsets, I haven't seen them yet.......
(but it would be so cool if they were hammer shaped, you could build
a house and talk to your friends with the same keitai).
