You could pull out the colorimeter to build you own ICC profiles but I'm
not sure how good the results would be off the LCD screens that phones
use.
Any profile is also unlikely to account for the huge variation of "oily
buildup" on some user's screens ;)
A version of i-MIMIC is in the works that will include a filter to
simulate the washing out of color on the P209is - oily buildup aside.

Subject: (keitai-l) Color profiles for phones
As you all know, the various keitai models vary in terms of their
display
quality & color reproduction. Some are lighter or darker, some have too
much
red, green, etc. This is an issue for all color reproduction / display
systems.
Does anyone know of a firm that has developed color profile information
(such as ICC - see http://www.color.org/profile.html) for the various
phones? I understand that even within the same phone model, there will
be
some variation just due to manufacturing. The profiles would be
beneficial
in accurately reproducing an image so that it is consistent. It is
especially beneficial with images that are "branded" - such as a picture
of
a singer or product.
These types of profiles are often available for scanners, digital
cameras,
monitors, printers, etc.
Thanks in advance,
Brian Hutchison
