I agree, so when you are downloading 20 characters over 8 lines
of text it can appear very fast even if the network is congested.

I believe that iappli does not support socket connections,
or datagrams, necessary for real-time gaming apps, though
for periodic network connections the HTTP generic connection
framework should build you a good Tamagotchi game.
