We use GD with PHP and a combination of ASPImage/mPaint with ASP to deliver
dynamic image content to wireless uses but both have there limitations:
GD GIF support is nonexistent on hosted servers (if you know any that do,
please let me know). ASPImage lacks PNG/BMP palette control or the ability
to send binary GIF data.
It would be great to have a single package (either commercial or otherwise)
that was built for wireless content delivery:
1. Ability to send binary GIF, PNG, WBMP and BMP data.
2. Allow you to create 8-bit PNGs and a 2-bit BMPs.
