While it is a trivial process to allow the user to change the user agent
i-MIMIC sends, dynamic content tailored for say an N502i would not display
nicely on the much smaller P209is i-MIMIC screen.
Since the principle goal of i-MIMIC is to as near as possible simulate the
actual i-mode experience, the logical step is to add more phones which is
something that I will hopefully be able to address in the future.
Sometime back I mentioned the possible spinning off of an i-mode
stress-testing tool from i-MIMIC and an attached source view would probably
be the best method of testing dynamic content delivery for user defined user
agents.

While icab is just a browser and could never replace i-mimic, it DOES
allow one to see what content one is generating from a range of different
phones (line length, colours, etc etc) which is very useful indeed. (If
I-mimic can't do that, it would be a good extra feature - don't try to
mimic a whole host of phones but DO allow the header to be changed to a
different phone to check what content is being generated....)
