Does anyone know who is going to start deploying
mobile phone with a GPS chip embedded inside the
phone?
I wanted to know chronologically who has stated that
they will be deploying this for WAP or 3G based
phones.
I am a Qualcomm's BREW developer and I have seen their
GPSone Chips already for deployment in the fall.
GPSone is not a PURE GPS based chipset. It is the
first implementation of GPS services. The technology
uses triangulation with some Geo-positioned
Satellites.
Does anyone know anyone else who is making a pure GPS
Chipset for 3G or WAP phones right now ready for
deployment?
