The 503is is listed as allowing 12 kanji chars horizontal at
http://www.nttdocomo.co.jp/i/tag/s5.html
... one would expect this to translate to 24 chars (halfwidth) roman
characters...
However, it breaks chars at 20. (Thanks to B. Pellowe for drawing this to
my attention)
Anyone know why?
Are the docs incorrect, or does it really allow 12 kanji horizontally but
mess around with the roman font in some way?
I don't have a 503is, so I can't experiment, but I have verified the
behaviour.
Anyone care to comment?
