Just as I thought - I am going blind.

Ericsson. I love them. I got one of their phones, years ago.
The wall-plug recharger broke. I tried to get a replacement.
"Discontinued,"
I was told. "You'll have to get a new phone." After only six months?!
It turned out, though, I still had the car cigarette-lighter adapter. I
found
- yes, these exist - another adapter that plugs into the wall and supplies
the
lighter interface, so that I didn't have to leave my phone in the car while
it took forever to recharge. The most I've ever paid for a cigarette
lighter, that's for sure.
And it weighed as much as a brick.
The adapter, not the phone. (The phone only weighed half as much as
a brick.)
