During the past few months, I have noticed, at least in my parts
of Tokyo that there seems to be a lot of J-Phone users afoot.
Maybe as many or more than DoCoMo users.
Anyone have any stats on this? I know a lot of people here
love stats!
I gather my data by
looking at who is using what phone on the subways and in the streets.
So of course this data, if accurate, isn't released yet.
At a picnic last week I asked why another bunch of
J-Phone users used J-Phone and they told me its because
its the cheapest, and you can even upgrade your phone
for a mere 1000 Yen (approx 9 dollars).
Though usage is not equivalent to profits. I was wondering if
the usage of J-Phone is growing now and catching up to DoCoMo
or I just haven't seen enough people to get an accurate picture.
As for me I'm a TuKa user. (Not that I use my phone much at all).
Why, because I like the advertisements better and TuKa's are cheap
also.
DoCoMo is so expensive to buy a phone.
