(keitai-l) got midi?

is midi supposed to work in an iappli? I can't get it to work
(UNSUPPORTED_FORMAT error) but I found a demo at Atsushi's page
(http://cgi14.plala.or.jp/antun/tips/mobile/ijava.html) which uses midi
(piano demo).
Anyone else got midi and iappli to work? Is mld all that I can play with
AudioPresenter?
