Right. But it will still be outdated compared to i-mode and euro-mode
phones that builds on XHTML Basic already now/soon.
Along that, and another reason why changing between WAP 1.x and 2.0 will
take time, a lot of the backend solutions are really hard-coded for WAP 1.x
architectures. Ericsson and Nokia are also strong providers of these
solutions, including the hated WAP gateways.
