Hello Ashish,
If you are loading your images via the resource:/// method then yes it needs
to be in the jar file. There is also a way of saving the images to the
scratchpad and reading it from there. And of course there is a way of using
http:// to get an image. This feature is poorly documented but, if you try
using MediaManager.getImage("http://myimage.gif"); you might be pleasantly
surprised.

Hi,
Is there a way to open and display images using http:// rather than
resource:/// .
I am not sure but i am guessing that to use resource:///, the images need to
be the part of the jar file(10K?). Is it correct ?? if not, than where do
the images reside, so that iAppli's can refer to them.
Thanks,
-Ashish
