(keitai-l) Location-based Services?

2 questions (typed on a 12-key pad;-> )

1. Are there any 3rd parties location-based service providers here in Japan (i.e. service that leverage the carriers X,Y services to provide various services) or do we have to contract directly with KDDi, J-phone and build or own?

2. I know that KDDi and J-phone offer Location based services. Anyone know when docomo will start?
