Showing that i-mode is NOT just teenagers. About half of all i-mode
users are over 35.

comment from jeff funk: D2's data shows that almost 35% of i-mode
subscribers are under 25 and 65% are under 35. However, there are several
important characteristics of this data. First, I have spoken with about 10
CPs and most of them argue that a large number of the over 45 i-mode
subscribers are subscribing for their children. this is because it is very
hard to subscribe to docomo if you are under 19. Second, most surveys of
phone users show that the ownership rates for high school students are very
similar to the ownership rates of college students. putting these pieces of
data togehter, it is highly likely that more than 45% of i-mode users (not
subscribers) are under 25 and 75% of the i-mode users are under 34.  Third,
the usage data for i-mode users is very skewed in that some people use it a
lot and some people use it very little. It is highly likely that the big
users are under 25 given the domination of entertainment in the popular
contents.
