I'm curious to explore the business relationship between do-como the content providers. The relationship must be different than what pc based ISPs( FLAT RATE FEE PER MONTH) have with their content providers. In a flat rate pricing model which is popular in US based ISPs, if a content site is not working then, it does not matter to an ISP as they still get same money from the consumer. But if they don't work on i-mode then consumers tend to use phones less and Do-como also looses money as their revenue is based on usage and not flat rate. So do-como might wath their content providers for steady performance and robustness of htier website. This might also lead to competition between similar content providers to have a more preferred position on do-como links. for example one content provider can position itself as a more stable and fast site and ask do-como to get a better linkage on the i-mode phone than their competitor.
any input is appreciated
thx ben
p.s: i'm based on US and never have seen a i-mode phone :)
