The actual physical display size is 111x106 pixels -- make a gif image that
size, stick it on the web, and view it on the phone and you'll see it just fills
up the screen.
However, the "stand-by screen" size is smaller because the phone limits image
size during standby for whatever reason. Try saving that same 111x106 image as a
standby screen and you'll see it gets squished down and doesn't take up the
whole screen.
