yes sure - but the fact is that this syntax "standard" for ftp and the
like (as an OPTION) It also works fine though a webbrowser. It should not
generate a DNS error.... One would not use it to hide money, but possibly
to hide email (pop3 is hardly secure, and most people use that) I wasn't
thinking of running it over a secure link BTW....
I am curious as to the technical limitations (or deviations) of the docomo
proxy/dns from what is available on the net. I am not sure what the RFCs
say about the url I posted - but it works fine on the 'net...
Does anyone have info on this? Does the docomo proxy just proxy ports 80
and 443 (or whatever https is on). I can't access my webmail (proprietory
server, curses) from imode, which makes me wonder what NONE chtml,
limitations the proxy/dns imposes...
Kludging around it isn't a problem. (Though I am not sure binhexing etc
would provide additional security...)
