I am under the impression that the NM502i remains the _only_
bilingual i-mode phone. There are a number of (older)
bilingual EZweb phones though.
Anyway, as an NM502i owner myself, I'd say that it's pretty good
as a phone but clunky for i-mode, primarily due to the tiny size
of the screen. If you're going to actually use i-mode a lot,
then do what everybody else in Japan is doing and get one of
those clamshell models that have a comparatively huge display
(a luxurious 20x10 characters or so).
