I have seen a couple of cHTML compatible prototypes for the GSM-GPRS/CDMA
market (produced by Japanese vendors) and then there's a European company
called Benefon www.benefon.com that designed what I think was the first
cHTML phone for GSM CSD a couple of years back [feel free to correct me if
I'm wrong on that one]. Samsung have got their own CDMA-packet model as well
which they're planning to launch at the Sydney Olympics and then at least
one of the Western handset manufactuers has a GPRS version in production.
etc, etc, etc....
The Hutch version of i-mode in Hong Kong started off on WAP CSD [including a
black'n'white version of Hudsonsoft's Miracle Grand Prix which must have
been rivetting]. But the "possibly this year" tag on the KPN story probably
means that they'll go with GPRS.
