Danny,
I'm sorry you can't join us for the demo in Tokyo. The demo is mainly a visual experience though, so there is not that much "information" to give out in this case, apart from the capabilities of 3G (that I think you may already know). One good web resource for 3G & GPRS info is http://www.mobileapplicationsinitiative.com/ (Ericsson-sponsored initiative).
Also, for people based in other countries than Japan, I recommend joining the international "Ericsson Developers' Zone" at www.ericsson.com/developerszone. There is also a list of local Developers' Zone contact people in various countries at http://www.ericsson.com/developerszone/level2/compcent/index.asp.
Back to the local demo we're doing; Ericsson is showing similar demos in other countries, but I'm not sure what is being done in the UK at the moment. If you want, I can ask my colleagues in Ericsson's Guildford Centre (UK) to get back to you about local activities and demos in the UK. I'm not sure if their current demos focus on 2G or 3G, but as you know the same W-CDMA will be used in Japan and in the UK. The contact info of the UK Ericsson Developers' Zone is also posted in Developers' Zone at http://www.ericsson.com/developerszone/level2/compcent/index.asp.
