For i-mode there is a hack that only works for certain 502 handsets:
Start the email with </XPLAINTEXT> and then html in the mail will work.
Again, only works for certain 502 handsets, don't know about 209 or
superDoccimo. Definitely doesn't work on 501.

In general, J-Phone can do 3000 char long mails. I-Mode is yet to start 2000
char mails, don't know about Au.
