(keitai-l) latency issues?

Hello,
Just a quick comment/question about the typical 
web infrastructure for iMode sites.

Are you experiencing much problems with latency?
Since i-Mode handsets only pull down data at 9.6 Kbps,
there would seem to be lots more open connections on 
the web server at any given time, vs. what you'll see
with clients on higher-speed connections. 

Any thoughts? (or am I just hallucinating from the
Tokyo heat..)
