Sendai man arrested for i-mode e-mail prank
TOKYO: Police on Monday arrested a 20-year-old vocational
school student on suspicion of setting up a Web site that
tricked subscribers of NTT DoCoMo Inc.'s i-mode mobile
phone service into automatically calling the police, police
said. Kisei Takada, of Sendai, northeastern Japan, allegedly
sent e-mails to users of the Internet-capable phones inviting
them to access his Web site on which an icon of a bomb was
displayed.
